Dr. Anne Taranto has taught literature and composition for more than 20 years including freshman English courses at Yale University, Georgetown University, Marymount University, and Northern Virginia Community College. Most recently she served as head of the English department and instructor for upper school British Literature and creative writing at Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in Bethesda, MD. Anne worked as an indepdendent writing consultant for several years. She earned a PhD in English Language and Literature/Letters from Yale University with a concentration in British Literature. She completed her Master’s degree in 18th century poetry and novels at Oxford University and her Bachelor’s degree in Comparative Literature from Columbia University.
