Mourad, Yara

Yara Mourad offers private and small group tutoring in Arabic to students in K-12th grade and adults. She can teach both formal Arabic and colloquial Levantine Arabic. She uses both traditional teaching approaches along with songs, stories, and games to engage her students. Yara earned a Master of Arts degree in Arabic Translation and Interpretation from Trent University in Oshawa, Ontario. She has previously worked as the Director of Curriculum at Tarrant School of Islamic Studies in Fort Worth, Texas and served as a translator and interpreter for the Refugee Services of Texas.
