Martin, Austin
Austin Martin is the instructor for Compass high school robotics. Austin is also employed as a an embedded software engineer where he designs the hardware and software for a constellation of low-earth orbit navigation satellites. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia with an emphasis on the design of embedded electronics (small computers). In his free time, Austin enjoys tinkering with and building all types of technology projects like aerial quadrotors, audio equipment, 3d printing, and more. He taught robotics while at UVA and previously served as a counselor at a summer camp in his hometown of Roanoke, VA.
