Ethan Hay works for Black Rocket, which has dozens of locations across the country. Founded in 2001, this program has taught technology and coding enrichment classes to more than 200,000 students. Black Rocket introduced cutting-edge, easy-to use technology. They work to support student creativity and self-empowerment through project-based learning. Black Rocket teaches enrichment courses about Python, Roblox, Minecraft, robotics, and more. Richard Ginn is the CEO of Black Rocket. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education from Clemson University, a Masters Degree in Political Science from Rutgers University, and a Masters Degree in School Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Richard taught at High Technology High School in Lincroft, NJ, where he was selected Teacher of the Year. He later served as an administrator in the Freehold Township School District where he worked with elementary, middle, and high school students. He later spent 4 years working as a specialist in curriculum development and technology integration. Richard works closely with the technology coaches assigned to Compass.
