Kathryn Beirne earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Education, Counseling and Development from George Mason University. She is certified in the Orton-Gillingham educational method and as an educational therapist through the National Institute for Learning Development. Kathryn works as both a professional and school counselor. She is the co-founder of Brain Based Education Academy, through which she uses a holistic approach to support individual students’ needs. She is committed to using small group activities to teach students with varying academic and social needs.
