Reminder: Not-Back-to-School Park Day 8/30

Compass families are invited to a Not-Back-to-School Park Day on Friday, August 30! New families are encouraged to come out and meet others, and returning families are welcomed to reconnect after the summer break. The weather forecast is for a high of just 79 degrees- perfect park weather! The Kona Ice truck will stop by between 12:30 pm- 1:30 pm to sell frozen treats.

The park has a playground, tot lot, baseball field, soccer field, basketball court, sand volleyball court, small picnic pavillion, and indoor restrooms. Families are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch, picnic blankets or folding chairs, games, and/or sports equipment. Teens are also welcome at this event, and they usually break-out into their own group for games and socializing. This is a casual, drop-in event with no RSVP needed.

The park is 0.6 miles (2 minutes) from Compass, and anyone who would like a campus tour or needs to touch base on any enrollment matter is welcome to drop in at 2:00 pm.
