New Year, New Homeschool Classes
Happy New Year! Whether you are new to homeschooling, new to Virginia, new to Compass, or a valued, returning veteran homeschool family, Compass has exciting opportunities for homeschoolers in the New Year. Winter classes begin on Monday, January 15, so there is still time to join us.
Compass has ongoing registration for a-la-carte classes for homeschoolers in PreK-12th grade. Unique, experiential classes are offered in math, science, robotics, technology, coding, literature, writing, history, geography, civics, French, Spanish, ASL, Latin, art, acting, dance, cooking, chess, music, homeschool PE, fencing, swimming, and more. Spaces are available in Compass Kindergarten, a half-day program with registration by day: Monday (language arts), Wednesday (math readiness), or Friday (science). Compass has a comprehensive high school schedule with new semester-long classes starting this month. Mid-term enrollment is also possible in some year-long high school math, science, and foreign language classes. Openings remain in many core classes that are covered by the Virginia K-12 Learning Acceleration Grant. Review a list of available classes HERE.
Round out your homeschooling with one-on-one tutoring or private music lessons while at our learning center. Winter is a great time to enroll at Compass with many available extracurricular clubs and special events coming up including: The Greater Fairfax Homeschool Geography Bee, our annual Valentines Exchange, Junior Spelling Bee, Senior Spelling Bee, and Teen Winter Ball.
New families who have questions about enrollment are invited to call (703-539-5075) or Contract Us to schedule an appointment the week of January 8.
