Register Now! Annual Compass Homeschool Quads Chess Tournaments (May 22)

Compass is hosting its TWO Homeschool Quads Chess Tournaments on Wednesday, May 22 starting at 10:00 am and 1:30 pm. Registration is ongoing for our 12th annual events! Select the AM or PM tournament based on your schedule. The mix of players and competition will be similar.

Students will be placed in groups of 4 by similar playing strength (or by age, if they are not a current Compass chess student). Each player will play 3 matches. This is a great opportunity as a first-time, beginners’ tournament, but more experienced players will also enjoy a morning of chess matches with other homeschoolers. The tournament is open to any homeschooled chess player from age 6 – 16.

Students must arrive by 15 minutes before the tournament to sign in and be placed in quad groups. The tournament will be followed by a brief awards ceremony where one out of every four players will receive a medal, and all receive a certificate.

Register on the “Activity Fees” page of the Compass website! The cost of the quad tournament is $15.00/ student. There will be no onsite registration the day of the tournament.
