Compass Classes Start in 3 Weeks, VA K-12 Grant Accepted, New Families Welcome
Compass Classes begin in just 3 weeks, and registrations are still being accepted! Compass offers more than 200 classes for homeschooled students in K-12th grade in math, science, coding, robotics, reading, writing, literature, history, French, Spanish, Latin, ASL, kindergarten, cooking, art, acting, music, ballet, swimming, fencing, PE, chess, and more. Compass offers private instruction and tutoring in a variety of subjects, and we are an Approved Vendor for the Virginia K-12 Learning Acceleration Grants.
Many Compass classes have spaces, and several popular classes have had 1-2 additional seats newly added. We have added 5 more grant-qualifing, quater-long (7 week) classes to the fall line-up:
- New Twists on Old Tales (Thursdays, 2:00 pm) for grades K-2
- Writing Wonders (Tuesdays, 1:00 pm) for grades 3-4
- Dynamic Dioramas: Biome Builders- Tropics (Thursdays, 1:00 pm) for grades 2-4
- Junior Engineering with LEGO (Thursdays, 3:30 pm) for grades K-2, public/private school kids welcome
- 3D Design and Printing Studio- Middle School (Mondays, 11:00 am) for grades 5-8
Compass has a vibrant, active community with more than 20 clubs and 15 special events throughout the year. New families are invited to one of ten Open House and Orientations this month.
