Community

Compass families enjoy a vibrant community atmosphere in addition to excellent academic and enrichment classes. Families join a warm, welcoming and diverse community in which children make meaningful connections and parents can network. Special events and extra activities are planned throughout the year to promote the community experience. Examples of annual events include a fall school pictures, Valentines exchange, Winter Talent and Art Showcase, Spring Student Marketplace, Teen Parties, and year-end Family Picnic & Field Day. Academic events and contests include the annual geography bee, two spelling bees, and quads chess tournament, while special events have included a Homeschool Family Science Night & Science Fair, Medieval Festival, American History Alive series, and Animal Kingdom Encounters program. On campus, families take advantage of the wooded campus, paths, expansive lawns, playground, picnic tables and benches outdoors and the social hall, study areas, and parent lounges indoors.
